Our simulation team are honoured to be invited to organise the Simulation Training for Anesthetic Crisis Management Precongress Workshop during the Annual Scientific Congress 2022 for Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologists & College of Anaesthesiologists.
“Interactive, Immersive, Intense”, this workshop aimed to provide hands-on learning experience to participants through immersive simulation scenarios to improve their technical and non-technical skills.
Sarawak Simulation Training in Anesthesia Workshop on 26th and 27th November 2022
We were invited to the inaugural Sarawak Simulation Training In Anaesthesia Workshop , which was held on the 26th to 27th November 2022 at Sarawak General Hospital. This event marked an important milestone in curriculum development in Sarawak through the introduction of simulation-based medical teaching and learning in a tertiary healthcare centre. We were glad to be able to share our UM experience and assist Simulation Networking (SimNet) Sarawak in setting up their simulation training.
UMMP Simulation Sessions
Our weekly UMMP simulation sessions with medical undergraduates have been the core of our UM simulation team training program. These hands-on and interactive simulation sessions conducted to teach various anesthetic crisis have been well received by students in general, as evident by very encouraging students’ feedback report.
