1. Reflective practice can help bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practice in anaesthesia education and practice.
2. Learners in anaesthesia rotate through different departments such as emergency, operating theatres, intensive care units or other acute care settings to obtain experience working with various clinical conditions.
3. Clinical supervisors in anesthesiology teach students how to perform anesthetic procedures.
4. Different modes of teaching are used in anaesthesia and these include simulation, case studies, problem-based learning, and practice in the operating theatre.
