Professor YK Chan is an honorary professor with the department. She moved into this position after retiring from the department and currently continues to actively teach our trainees. Her 30 odd years of previous working experience in Obstetric Anesthesia remains an asset that is often tapped for the benefit of the care-providers and the patients in the sub discipline. Her international network serves a useful link to the community of anesthesiologists in other countries, to move our care provision forward.
