Ina graduated from University of Dundee, Scotland and completed her masters in Anaesthesia in University of Malaya. She received fellowship in Paediatric Anaesthesia from KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Singapore and paediatric liver transplant training from Renji Hospital, Shanghai Jiatong University, China. Her latest venture is pursuing Master of Medical Education in University Malaya.
Over the years, Ina has collaborated with various international and local investigators. She has published chapters in books and articles in international journals and has been invited as speaker in many national and international scientific conferences. Her efforts are focused to improving the quality of care in anaesthesia especially in paediatric anaesthesia, advanced difficult airway management, and perioperative patient blood management.
Ina is the current president-elect for Malaysian Society of Anaesthesiologist and president-elect for Malaysian Society of Paediatric Anaesthesia. She aspires to promote safe and quality anaesthesia practices in Malaysia by enhancing training, research and education.
Away from work, Ina loves gardening with her husband and baking with her children. Her motto in life: “Truly in the remembrance of GOD do hearts find rest”.
