Dr Yip is an ICU Specialist at University Malaya Medical Centre. He started his career in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2013 and completed his Master’s Degree in Anaesthesiology in 2018. Always one who embraces challenge, he thrives on the excitement and adrenaline rush of being working in the ICU. He is currently pursuing his fellowship in intensive care medicine.
His clinical interests include mechanical ventilation in critical care, renal replacement therapy, organ donation and transplantation. He is also actively involved in numerous quality improvement projects aimed at reducing n CLABSI and VAP rate in ICU.
