Dr Siti Nadzrah Yunus

Nadzrah’s journey in medicine starts in 2006 when she was accepted to pursue her degree in Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at University of Malaya. Formerly, her main reason for joining the medical fraternity was not like any other. She never dreams of being a hero that save lives. It was merely to avoid studying physics. She continued her training in Master of Anaesthesiology (MAnaes) at University of Malaya in 2015, right after she has completed MRCP. Once she embarked on the mission to be an Anaesthesiologist, she realized it is filled with physics. And it was rather too late to turn back. She made it through the rain and successfully become an Anaesthesiologist in 2019.

Even though Nadzrah is a newly appointed Anaesthesiologist in University of Malaya, she has been involved in a wide range of the department’s activities and committees. She is still exploring her talent in the research world. Her efforts are currently focused around perioperative medicine, spine surgeries and quality improvement.

Besides work, Nadzrah can be seen experimenting with gastronomy delights while enjoying her fair share of caffeine and juggling with her feline fur babies.
