OBJECTIVE
- Aims to discuss the impact of obesity on different organ system with the intention to assist ICU physician in the management of this vulnerable population.

- Ventilation of ARDS in obese patients in icu
SUMMARY
- Obesity is associated with important health risks which affecting 1/5th of ICU patients.
Although moderate obesity may paradoxically decrease mortality rate in ICU patients, increased adipose tissue still has impacts on multi organ system, increase in morbidity and required an adapted ICU cares.
