1. The operating theatre can be a rich and diverse learning environment offering valuable learning opportunities to anaesthesiology trainee of all training levels
2. Optimizing learning in operating theatre requires a two- way interaction between trainer and trainee.
3. One must always remember that in the learning process, one’s primary responsibility is the care of the patient.
4. These 12 tips are suggestive measures, some are readily applicable to our daily practice, while some require further improvement. Aside from these 12 tips, trainee can look into ‘adjuncts’ which suits them better in their learning.
